  1. OK so we played Edmonton which was great, had a day off so Aaron could fly home for his brothers wedding and then played Winnipeg and Thunder Bay which were ok. Then 100 km outside of Thunder Bay our van stalled. After getting towed to Nipigon, Ontario (population 2,500! But they have 25 churches!) we found out in the morning from Canadian Tire that we needed a new engine and it was going to take til Tuesday to fix. That seemed to be our best option, rather than ditching the van and buying a new one or renting one or flying home… anyhow, so we’ve been forced to cancel our Thursday Sault Ste Marie Show, and our Friday and Tuesday Toronto shows… we are hoping to still make it to our Wednesday Toronto show and then over to Montreal for the bunch of shows we have there… but we’ll see. For now we are stuck in Thunder Bay.

We made a second video in Edmonton, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnJ597-wRHs

    Wish us luck!!!!

  2. We just played Lethbridge and Red Deer, thanks so much to Thomas and Jason for organizing the two shows!! Check out this band York Redoubt we played with in Red Deer, they’re dope: www.myspace.com/yorkredoubt

  3. WOW great show at Verns in Calgary last night. The folks at the bar were super nice, good crowd, nice peeps and wicked bands: Blue Boi, Gypsy Cathedral, Deathbed Baby, and especially I Kill You who melted our faces with spazzy screaming shrieking mathy loud madness. http://www.myspace.com/ikillyou Holy moses, what a dope band. They don’t have recordings ready with their new singer yet, but when they do, I will be all over them. Now we are eating bagels at a cafe in Lethbridge. We have a couple video updates we’ll upload when we have faster internet. Also, yesterday marked a year since we lost our bandmate and best friend Tommy Milburn. We are missing him tons still and wish we could be in Vancouver to be with his family and other friends. We hope everyone is coping as best as they can, and we send our love.

  4. The champions of Edmonton have treated us well. Rested, we are ready to continue on our journey back south to the stampede land.

  5. For tour dates, check the myspace link on the left!

So it’s Sunday June 28th and the madness that has been Sled Island is over. HOLY FUN TIMES! We played on Tuesday at Tubby Dog and it was pretty great, lots of peeps, SubLinguals played also and were dope. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME!! Steve Louie took pictures, I suppose they will be online when he gets back to Vancouver. Then Wednesday til Saturday we’ve just been going to shows and seeing some super rad shows: Health, Liars, Final Fantasy, Monotonix, Fond Of Tigers, Lint, Dieselboy, Shearing Pinx, Twin Crystals, Fine Mist, Japandroids, Woodhands, Andrew WK, No Gold, Colourbook, These Arms Are Snakes, Githead, and a bunch others I am probably forgetting… holy ridiculously amazing bands. Super inspirational, super stoked now to actually play a bunch of shows. But first we have a bunch of days off we are going to spend in Edmonton… then starting Wednesday, we go east, starting with another show in Calgary, then Lethbridge, then more! Updated dates are posted on the myspace.

  6. WHOA we are “on tour”! Our first show at Tubby Dog went great last night, met some super nice people, awesomeness. 7. It has been a while since we last posted. We’ve been busy. Touring in July to Montreal and back, details will be posted soon…

  8. So the show on Friday went pretty good, the only thing that was weird was that a ham sandwhich on the menu was named after us… but 3 of the 4 of us are vegetarian! We even try to be vegan!!! Why, you may ask? There is many a good reason. Here is a movie about it: http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=earthlings#

Anyhow, thanks to Poib and Awake Human for throwing the show!
